Propolis is a substance produced by honeybees made from the resins of budding leaves of decidious and coniferious trees alike.  Propolis, as noted from NCBI, The National Center for Biotechnology Information, U.S. National Library of Medicine, states that propolis has also been reported to contain a wide range of vitamins and minerals and has compounds known to be antioxidant, antibotic, anticancer, anti-tumor, and antiviral.  The tincture can be used topically and internally.
